Opinions Matter (how to get more followers on Threads)
Threads just dropped.
It’s a new Twitter dupe from Meta that allows you to sign up in a few clicks with your Instagram.
I’m sure you’ve heard of it.
It got 10 million users in seven hours. Allegedly it has 30 million users as of this morning.
The tone on Threads right now is exciting, like the first day of school. Everyone’s putting their best foot forward, making introductions, and being super nice.
I’ve been power-posting on Threads, trying to earn some connections amidst all the excitement. I’m realizing the old adage holds true even on new platforms…
Opinions matter.
Many creators apologize for their opinions. They only post them after they’ve been qualified a few different ways. This is no way to gain attention or earn an audience. People are drawn to opinions. We want your perspective.
On Instagram, you could get by with pretty visuals, even if they were devoid of opinion. This isn’t the case on Threads.
So tell us what you think. Give us unsolicited advice. Share your story. Give us a hot take.
We’re ready for it.
