Why You Should Take Online Courses
It’s no secret that online classes have exploded over the past three years. A combination of there being more influencers than ever, cheap production costs, and quarantine, has led us here. So many creators monetize their audiences by teaching what they know for a price.
So how do you know which online course is right for you?
A friend of mine showed me an online course he’s been taking by Bronques called Mystery School. I asked what he liked about it. He showed me a few sections that he had completed, skipped by a few that he had only skimmed, and finally arrived at a section he said he watched a few times. “This one I really relate to,” he told me.
I realized there’s no such thing as a perfect class. Not every part of every online course will hit home. The important part is to find someone you relate to. Someone who speaks your language.
But the most important part is just picking one. Because any time spent working on oneself, wrestling with new topics, and trying to get better, will pay off. At a certain point, it doesn’t matter how insightful the online course is. Because the most transformational part is simply deciding that investing in yourself is worth it.
P.S. This is me officially teasing an online course. I’ll be on set for the next few days, but I’m hoping to publish it by this time next week. Get ready.
