Motion begets motion

Have you ever listened to a true crime podcast, or watched a mafia documentary? It always seems like those stories keep getting crazier and crazier. You hear one thing, you think it can’t get any wilder, and it always does.

That’s because action begets action.

The good news is, we don’t need to participate in organized crime to experience the same momentum in our lives.

Inertia is the enemy of everything we dream about. The reason we haven’t achieved the things we want is because we keep doing the same thing. We’re stuck in stagnancy. Like riding a bike, the hardest part is to get it moving.

Momentum begets momentum.

Action begets action.

Clients get you more projects, and money gets you more money.

Sometimes the thing keeping us stuck in place is the thought that if we get started on something, it might be the wrong thing.

Even if it is the wrong thing, that’s okay.

Because the momentum you gain from doing the wrong thing can be easily transferred into the right thing. If you’ve been waiting to get started on a new project, or waiting to get started freelancing at all, this is your sign to start.

Motion begets motion.
