End Of Year Thoughts
Today is September 21st. In a few days, we’ll be done with Q3, and on to Q4. The end of the year is approaching and the beginning of a new one is right behind it.
And that’s the problem.
I haven’t accomplished as much as my January Self had hoped. There’s a list on the first page of a notebook I keep in my backpack that has a lot of uncrossed-off items.
And I find it incredibly easy to say Well, I’ll try again next year. As if there wasn’t still more than 25% of this year remaining. As if the rest of the year were a wash. As if the beginning of the new year will make my goals any easier.
I write this as a motivator to me. If it works for you, then great. There’s no need to wait for a new year to get started on a new project, a new habit, or a new education. We can get started now, and accomplish a lot in these next three months.
Don’t wait.
