Plant, Water, Harvest

Farmers plant their crop. They find it, buy it, spread it, and wait. Not all of it will take root. Most of it will die.

Then, farmers water their crop. They tend to the soil, they fertilize, they weed out, they protect. Not all of it will grow to be healthy. Much of it will underproduce.

Then, farmers harvest. They pick, they sort, they sell, they feed. They eat. Not all of it is for them, but much of it is.

There is so much work to be faithfully done before the harvest comes. Farmers don’t worry that much of their seed doesn’t take root. They don’t freak out when some crops die. They do the work before the guarantee of a harvest.
