Empowerment

Empowerment works ten times better than fear. 

Openness works ten times better than saving face.

Honesty works ten times better than hoping things wool work out.

I learned all of these on this last photo + video workshop in Iceland. I helped @Jacob and @ThatOneBlondKid run their 5th workshop in 18 months, and these guys were nothing but empowering, open, and honest with their guests and me. 

Everyone benefitted greatly, and as much as I try to save face in my work, I’m realizing that vulnerability is the most important thing to face the world with.
